It would be hard to find a dental hygienist with more experience than Allene (or 'Ali' as most of us call her). First receiving her dental hygiene training in the military, she spent seven years serving the US Air Force with her skills. When she returned to civilian life, she continued to pursue her interests in dental health. Ali received her first Associate of Science degree from Solano College and a second AS in Dental Hygiene from Sacramento City College. In all she has been treating and educating patients for some 25 years! She joined Dr. Hicken in this practice 14 years ago.

In addition to being a great hygienist, Ali has a jovial personality that has made her many friends along the way!

But dental hygiene isn't the only thing Ali practices -- you're likely to find her practicing one of her other talents at the bowling alley where she plays in a league. Ali is also actively involved in her church where she sings in the choir and participates in many functions. She and her husband have been married 32 years and have three grown children.
